I'm on the fence with this one. Not sure if I dig the new CYHSY sound or not. The familiar distortion you'd expect is almost all but gone along with lead singer Alec Ounsworth actually attempting to sing combines for a weird, unfamiliar feeling. The internet-famed Brooklyn band's album, Hysterical, is out in September. Here's the poppy, all-to-clean sounding, "Same Mistake."

Yeasayer - Devil and The Deed

New Yeasayer? New Yeasayer. The Faux Your Ears favorite performed their new song, "Devil And The Deed" on Conan the other night. Good mix the new wave and afro beat sound we expect to hear from Yeasayer with a catchy synth hook at 2:50. Not sure when the new album is set to release but it's reassuring to know one is on zee way. Video and mp3 below.

Great track by Is Tropical. The London trio is back at it with the single "The Greeks." I'm not sure what's better, the actual song or the video for this track. The animated infused video features 5 or 6 kids shooting the shit out of each other and dealing coke. mp3 and video below...
